Description
Experience vivid visuals with the Adafruit 1.28" 240x240 Round TFT LCD Display featuring a built-in microSD slot and the GC9A01A driver, enhanced with an EYESPI 18-pin flex PCB connector.
This 1.28" diagonal round IPS TFT display packs 240x240 16-bit color pixels at 220 ppi, delivering bright colors with full-angle viewing up to 80 degrees. Unlike typical smartwatch round displays which use MIPI interfaces, this board uses an SPI interface with a friendly driver, ensuring compatibility with virtually any microcontroller or microcomputer.
The breakout board includes an ultra-low-dropout 3.3V regulator, auto-reset circuitry, and a 3/5V level shifter, allowing for flexible power and logic voltage use. The microSD card slot supports FAT16/FAT32 formatted cards for loading full-color bitmaps. A 1x16 header and mounting holes make integration easy.
Use the open-source Arduino library for flexible graphics options or explore Python libraries for Raspberry Pi and CircuitPython support. The included 18-pin EYESPI connector enables solderless cable connections via compatible 0.5mm pitch FPC cables.
