Description

Adafruit seesaw is a near-universal converter framework that extends hardware support to any I2C-capable microcontroller or microcomputer. The ATSAMD09 breakout with seesaw provides multiple peripheral functions integrated into one board for versatile applications.

  • 3 x 12-bit ADC inputs
  • 3 x 8-bit PWM outputs
  • 7 x GPIO with selectable pullup or pulldown
  • 1 x NeoPixel output (up to 63 pixels)
  • 1 x EEPROM with 64 byte NVM memory for small data storage
  • 1 x Interrupt output triggered by any accessories
  • 2 x I2C address selection pins (default 0x49, can be changed to 0x4A, 0x4B or 0x4C)
  • 1 x Activity LED

The chip can be reprogrammed to adjust the number of peripherals as long as it fits into the ATSAMD09D14's firmware. It is ideal for development of seesaw capabilities and can add hardware support to Raspberry Pi or ESP8266.

Note: The boards do not come with a bootloader. Development requires a J-Link and a SWD adapter breakout. The project supports Atmel Studio, and custom builds are community supported.
