Description
The Adafruit BH1750 is a 16-bit ambient light sensor from Rohm that measures light intensity in lux. This sensor is perfect for projects that need to detect and measure light levels, such as adjusting display brightness, robot navigation, or day/night detection.
The BH1750 sensor measures from 0 to 65,000+ lux, with potential to reach up to 100,000 lux with calibration and advanced settings.
This product is packaged on a PCB in the STEMMA QT form factor, featuring an integrated voltage regulator and level shifting circuitry allowing for use with both 3.3V and 5V systems (e.g., Feather M4, Raspberry Pi, Arduino). This board includes a 0.1" / 2.54mm pitch header and SparkFun Qwiic compatible STEMMA QT I2C connectors for easy plug-and-play connectivity without soldering.
Note: STEMMA QT cable not included but available separately.
Adafruit provides libraries compatible with CircuitPython, Raspberry Pi, and Arduino for seamless integration and software development support.
