Adafruit Feather 32u4 Basic Proto Development Board

Feather is the new development board from Adafruit, designed to be thin, light, and portable. The Feather 32u4 Basic Proto features an ATmega32u4 microcontroller clocked at 8 MHz with 3.3V logic, the same chip used in the Flora board. This chip includes 32K of flash, 2K of RAM, built-in USB with native USB-to-serial programming and debugging, and supports USB HID functionalities like acting as a mouse or keyboard.

This development board is ideal for portable projects as it includes a connector for any 3.7V Lithium polymer battery and a built-in battery charger that automatically switches to USB power when connected. The battery voltage can be monitored via an analog pin, allowing easy detection of battery levels.

The Feather 32u4 Basic Proto comes fully assembled and tested with a USB bootloader compatible with the Arduino IDE. Headers are included for soldering and breadboard compatibility. Please note, Lithium Polymer battery and USB cable are not included but available separately.
