Description
The Adafruit Feather M4 CAN Express is an upgraded Feather M4 Express featuring the ATSAME51J19 chipset with built-in CAN bus support. Powered by a 120MHz Cortex M4 core with floating point support, it includes 512KB Flash, 192KB RAM, and a 2MB SPI FLASH chip for storage.
This board has a CAN transceiver and 5V converter for powering the transceiver even on battery power. The CAN signal lines and ground are accessible via a 3-pin 3.5mm terminal block. The CAN and booster circuits can be put to sleep for power saving.
Key features include USB Type-C connector, built-in crypto engines, a 100mA LiPo charger, mini NeoPixel, and compatibility with FeatherWings. It supports both Arduino IDE and CircuitPython, with a UF2 bootloader enabling easy drag-and-drop programming.
