Description
The Adafruit I2S Stereo Decoder - UDA1334A Breakout is a fully-featured audio DAC designed for I2S-output audio interfaces. Featuring the NXP UDA1334A chip, this breakout board supports 3.3V to 5V logic levels and multiple data formats including classic I2S, 16-bit, 20-bit, and 24-bit left-justified data. It provides clear, analog stereo line-level output through a 3.5mm headphone jack or breadboard-friendly pads.
Ideal for devices such as the Raspberry Pi, it includes a built-in PLL to generate proper clocks from the bitclock signal, and supports MCLK-less I2S interfaces. Additional features include a mute pin, a de-emphasis filter, ferrite beads for noise reduction, a low-dropout regulator, and a recommended band-pass filter for clean audio output.
