Description
The Adafruit Infrared IR Remote Receiver is a super sensitive, wide-range IR receiver board designed for 38KHz IR remote control signals. It features two selectable IR receiver chips and a slide switch to select the active sensor. This breakout makes it easy to receive IR signals with a microcontroller, featuring a green power LED and a red signal LED to indicate IR signal detection.
The board operates at 3~5VDC, with the demodulated IR envelope outputted via the Signal pin, ideal for microcontrollers with pulse-input reading capabilities. It supports STEMMA JST PH 2mm 3-pin connectors for simple, solderless wiring, but also includes a 0.1" header for soldering if preferred.
- Two selectable IR receiver chips (vertical and horizontal orientation)
- Slide switch for chip selection
- Compatible with 3~5V power supply
- Green power LED and red signal LED indicators
- STEMMA JST PH 2mm connector for easy wiring
- Mounting holes for convenient installation
- Designed specifically for 38KHz IR remote control signals only
This product is ideal for a variety of IR remote receiving projects, enabling easy integration with compatible microcontrollers. STEMMA JST PH 2mm cables sold separately.
