Description

The Adafruit LTR-329 Light Sensor is an easy-to-use and low-cost I2C digital light sensor that provides reliable and wide-ranging light measurements for your projects.

Ideal for various applications such as adjusting display brightness, robotics navigation towards brighter areas, or detecting day and night conditions, the LTR-329 is a compact and capable sensor for detecting light levels.

The sensor offers 16-bit measurements for both Infrared and Visible+IR spectrums which can be used to calculate human-visible light. With configurable gain and integration time settings, it can measure light from 0 to over 65,000 lux.

Packaged on a PCB in the convenient STEMMA QT form factor, the LTR-329 includes voltage regulation and level shifting to support 3.3V and 5V devices like Feather M4, Raspberry Pi, and Arduino boards. It includes STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors for easy plug-and-play I2C connectivity, eliminating the need for soldering.

Supported by libraries for CircuitPython, Python, and Arduino with multiple examples, it is straightforward to integrate into your projects.
