Description
Thermocouples require sensitive amplification with cold-compensation. The Adafruit MCP9601 I2C Thermocouple Breakout (MCP96L01) simplifies this process by handling all analog functions internally and supporting a wide range of thermocouple types: K, J, T, N, S, E, B, and R.
This breakout board integrates the MCP96L01 chip, a 3.3V regulator, and level shifting circuitry, allowing operation with 3.3V or 5V logic. It features a 2-pin terminal block for easy thermocouple connection and a pin header for breadboard compatibility.
