Description
The Adafruit METRO 328 is a fully assembled and tested Arduino-compatible microcontroller board with through-hole headers attached. It features the ATmega328P running at 16MHz with 32KB flash memory and 2KB RAM, compatible with Arduino UNO R3 shields and boards.
This board works with the Arduino IDE (desktop and cloud) by selecting 'Arduino UNO' in the boards menu. Power the METRO with 7-9V DC or via the micro USB connector for 5V USB sources. An on/off switch next to the DC jack allows for easy power control. The board automatically switches between USB and DC power sources.
Key features include:
- 20 GPIO pins, including 6 analog inputs and 6 PWM outputs on 3 timers
- Hardware SPI, I2C, and UART communication
- USB to serial converter via genuine CP2104 chip
- Four indicator LEDs for power, RX, TX, and a user LED on pin PB5
- Compatible with 5V logic, with easy modification for 3.3V logic
- Optiboot bootloader pre-installed for easy programming
- Compatible with all Adafruit shields
The METRO 328 is designed for ease of use and is perfect for developers and hobbyists who need a reliable Arduino compatible board.
Includes 4 rubber bumpers to prevent slipping.
