Hey, have you heard the good news? With Adafruit STEMMA boards you can easily and safely connect sensors and devices, like this Adafruit STEMMA Speaker - Plug and Play Audio Amplifier. This board features a class D audio amplifier and a 1 Watt 8 ohm speaker, delivering good quality sound for music, tones, speech, and more.

It requires only ground, 3 to 5V power, and an audio signal for operation. The audio signal input is AC coupled on the board and supports up to the power pin voltage (3 or 5V peak-to-peak). You can connect via the 3-pin JST socket or alligator/sew-pads. Volume is adjustable with a small screwdriver.

Ideal for CircuitPlayground or micro:bit, use the JST to alligator-clip cable (sold separately) with color-coded wires (red for power, black for ground, white for signal). For breadboard use, JST to male or female header cables are recommended (sold separately).
