Adafruit TFT 50pin to 40pin + AR1100 Touchscreen Adapter

This adapter is specifically designed for adapting Adafruit's RTD266X driver boards with 50-pin TFT connectors to use 40-pin TFT displays. Note that the adapter cannot be used in the reverse direction.

An integrated AR1100 resistive touch controller is included, enabling resistive touch screens to connect to a computer via USB with easy calibration. The AR1100 acts as a touch-to-USB converter and appears as a regular Mouse or Digitizer HID device, requiring no additional drivers and working on any operating system supporting USB mice.

The calibration software for the AR1100 is Windows only, but after calibration, the screen can be used across operating systems. The adapter ships with a test calibration; users may need to recalibrate using Microchip's software.
