Description
The Arduino Micro is a compact 5V 16MHz microcontroller board based on the ATmega32u4, offering the full power of the Arduino Leonardo in a tiny size of 1.9" x 0.7" (48mm x 18mm). It features a USB-native 8-bit microcontroller with 32 KB flash memory and 2.5 KB RAM, programmable directly via the micro USB connector or a 6-pin ISP header.
Key features include a processor, crystal oscillator, micro USB connection with fuse, Reset button, ISP header for low-level programming, onboard LEDs including ON, TX, RX and a user LED on pin 13, and a 3.3V regulator. This version comes with headers pre-soldered and operates at 5V logic with a 16MHz crystal.
The Arduino Micro is ideal for breadboard projects or when you need a compact microcontroller with USB client capabilities, such as appearing as a mouse or keyboard to computers. It has the same pins as the Arduino Leonardo but is not shield compatible.
