Description
A Feather board without ambition is a Feather board without FeatherWings! This Fully assembled (with headers) DC Motor + Stepper FeatherWing lets you control 2 bi-polar stepper motors or 4 brushed DC motors (or 1 stepper and 2 DC motors) with ease using a dedicated PWM driver chip over I2C.
The original Adafruit Motorshield Kit is condensed into this FeatherWing, making it smaller, lighter, and more portable, with the addition of a fully dedicated PWM driver chip that handles motor and speed control.
- 4 full H-Bridges powered by TB6612 chipset providing 1.2A per bridge with thermal and kickback protection
- Support for 4 bi-directional DC motors or 2 stepper motors
- Individual 12-bit speed selection for precise control
- Compatible with 4.5VDC to 13.5VDC motor power supply
- Big 3.5mm terminal block connectors for easy wiring (18-26AWG)
- Polarity protected 2-pin terminal block and jumper for external power supply
- Stackable design allowing up to 32 wings with unique I2C addresses
- Comes assembled and tested with terminal blocks and plain header
- Feather board and motors not included
Use any DC or stepper motor running 4.5-13.5VDC drawing less than 1.2A per coil. External power supply for motors is recommended. Download the easy-to-use Arduino software library with examples to get started.
