Description
This Barebones AVR Development Board is a minimalist AVR target board originally from Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories. It comes unassembled with just the essentials to get started with AVR microcontroller projects.
The kit includes:
- Printed circuit board
- Blank ATMEGA328 with internal 1 MHz oscillator selected (default)
- 28-DIP socket
- 6-pin ISP AVR programming header
- 0.1uF ceramic capacitor
- 5mm diffused red LED
- Resistor for LED
It is recommended to use this board with a USBtinyISP programmer (not included) for programming and powering the board. Any programmer can be used as long as the board is powered.
Example 'hello world' project and code are available for blinking an LED on pin PB5. The board can also be modified to function as a Minimal Arduino with additional instructions and a programmer.
