IDE Molex 4-Pin Socket Cable - 30cm Long

For big projects with significant power needs, this 30cm long IDE Molex 4-pin socket cable is perfect for connecting to AT or ATX power supplies. It allows you to easily grab 5V or 12V power from your computer power supply's hard drive/CD-ROM power cables. The cable features a matching 4-pin Molex connector and is suitable for powering LEDs, VFD/LCD displays, and more, even while the computer is powered on.

Note: Some older drives may have unstable 12V supply unless the 5V line has a sufficient load. In that case, a 10 ohm 10 Watt power resistor can be soldered between ground and 5V to stabilize the 12V line.
