Illuminated Toggle Switch with Clear Cover - White LED

Fire up your engines because these are the hot-rods of toggle switches! Equipped with an aerodynamic clear protective casing, and a diffused white LED at the tip of the switch, this Clear/White LED Toggle Switch adds flair and functionality to any project.

Often used in control panels, this switch mimics those found in racing cars, fighter jets, submarines, and factory controls. It can control virtually any accessory with a rated voltage of up to 12V and an LED that lights up at 3V.

Wiring Notes:

• The LED anode (positive) is connected through a resistor to the pin marked with a headlamp symbol (=D).
• The LED cathode (negative) is connected to the ground pin, protruding from the side of the switch.
• The switch toggles connection between the (+) pin and the 'headlamp' pin.

Wiring Options:

• Use the switch to turn on/off accessories by connecting and disconnecting bottom pins.
• Keep the LED always on by applying 3-12V between ground and headlamp pin.
• Have the LED on only when switched on by applying 3-12V to (+) pin while grounding the ground pin.

The protective cover automatically turns the switch off when flipped closed, but it can be removed if desired.
