Description
The Intel® Edison R2 Kit for Arduino is a compact computing platform designed for easy integration into Internet of Things (IoT) projects. Featuring a powerful 22 nm Intel SoC, it includes a dual core, dual threaded Intel Atom CPU at 500MHz, and a 32-bit Intel® Quark microcontroller running at 100 MHz, delivering significant power in a small form factor.
This kit includes a breakout board that supports Arduino Sketch, Linux, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, mostly compatible with the Arduino Uno layout (with 4 PWM pins). The breakout board exposes 40 GPIOs, 6 analog inputs, 20 digital input/output pins, along with UART, I2C, and ICSP 6-pin header (SPI). It also features an SD card connector, micro USB, or a standard USB-A connector for versatile connectivity.
Power your projects with 7V-15V DC input and explore new middleware and cloud features such as Bluetooth support, expanded I/O library, JavaScript & Python bindings, RESTful device data access, OTA software updates, and hosted IDE for cloud-based services.
