Description

The Kitronik Air Quality Control HAT for Raspberry Pi is a comprehensive sensor board designed to monitor, log, and react to environmental data. Compatible with all Raspberry Pi models featuring a 40-pin GPIO connector, including Pi 2, 3, 4, 5, Zero, and Zero 2, this HAT offers extensive monitoring and control features.

This board integrates a BME688 air quality and environmental sensor that measures temperature, pressure, humidity, air quality index, and eCO2. It also features an RP2040 microcontroller for RTC and additional ADC inputs. The data can be visualized on a 128x64 OLED display and indicated via three onboard ZIP LEDs and a piezo buzzer.

In addition to onboard sensors, the HAT includes external connections for servos, motors, heater pads, analogue sensors, and high-power 1A outputs, enabling advanced interaction based on sensor data. It is powered through the Raspberry Pi's GPIO connector and complies with the official Raspberry Pi HAT standards.

Users can easily install a dedicated Python package (KitronikAirQualityControlHAT) via PyPi for programming and examples are available on the Kitronik GitHub repository.
