Description
The Kitronik Deluxe Rear Bike Light Kit is an easy-to-build project designed to teach and use the popular 555 timer IC. It features four ultra-bright red LEDs that can operate in two modes: constant and flashing. The kit conforms to British Standards for vehicle road lighting (2005) in terms of brightness and flash rate, making it ideal for a rear bike light, night safety product or flashing eyes.
This kit includes essential electronic components mounted on a compact PCB perfect for custom enclosures. It runs efficiently on 3 x AAA batteries, with an estimated usage suitable for at least a month of daily 2-hour commutes with LEDs at full brightness.
