Description
The Kitronik Resistive Touch Keypad is designed to enhance the resistive touch capabilities of the BBC micro:bit, making it easier to access and use.
This breakout board maps pins 0, 1, and 2 from the BBC micro:bit to circular pads sized for fingertips. Touching across the two hemispheres of these pads creates a connection between the pin and ground (GND), registering a 'touch' input.
The board connects to the BBC micro:bit using jumper cables or soldered wires, and features pre-fitted pin headers for P0, P1, P2, and GND. Additionally, two M3 mounting holes at either end allow for secure attachment to projects or surfaces.
Compatible coding examples are available within the MakeCode editor, and further detail can be found in the product datasheet.
