The kit includes a two-part plastic greenhouse, Kitronik environmental control board, water pump, Kitronik ZIP Stick, Mini Prong soil moisture sensor, 5 crocodile clips, ZIP extension cable, and a small screwdriver. Just add a micro:bit, seeds, and water to get started.

The heart of the kit is the Kitronik environmental control board which features multiple sensor inputs, an onboard BME280 sensor for temperature, barometric pressure, and humidity, a real-time clock, piezo buzzer, 1A outputs suitable for water pumps or heaters, ZIP LED connectors, servo output, and battery or DC jack power options.
