Kitronik USB Rechargeable Torch Kit

The Kitronik USB Torch Kit is a through-hole soldering kit designed specifically for use in KS3 Design and Technology lessons. It provides an excellent introduction to electronics and electronic construction with full documentation available, covering theory and construction.

This versatile kit can be used on its own for educational purposes or as part of a larger project involving product design including enclosure design. The PCB includes 4 x M3 mounting holes, allowing for secure enclosure mounting.

The torch circuit has an energy storage section and an energy usage section. The switch connects these sections, allowing capacitors to discharge into the LED. Charging for five minutes should provide 5 to 10 minutes of illumination.
