The Kitronik ZIP Halo HD board for the BBC micro:bit is an advanced LED lighting and sound accessory featuring 60 individually addressable full colour ZIP LEDs arranged in a circular halo design, making it ideal for creative lighting projects and interactive displays.

This board breaks out micro:bit pins P1 and P2 to standard 0.1" footprints, includes a MEMS microphone for sound detection, a piezo buzzer for audio output, and an onboard real-time clock (RTC) controlled via I2C. The 3xAA battery holder on the rear provides power with an integrated switch for convenience and power management. Mounting holes allow secure fixing of the board in projects.
