Description
The PJRC Teensy 4.1 Development Board features a powerful ARM Cortex-M7 processor at 600 MHz, using the NXP iMXRT1062 chip – the fastest microcontroller available today, running ten times faster than the Teensy 3.2. This board offers extensive I/O capability and is ideal for projects that require high performance, lots of memory, and multiple USB connections.
Teensy 4.1 offers four times larger flash memory than the Teensy 4.0, with additional spaces for soldering extra memory chips (PSRAM and QSPI flash). It maintains the same form factor as Teensy 3.6 but adds features like a 100MB Ethernet PHY, an SD card socket, and a USB host port for connecting peripherals such as keyboards and MIDI instruments.
Key Features:
- ARM Cortex-M7 processor at 600 MHz for high-speed operation
- 1MB RAM (512KB tightly coupled) and 2MB flash memory (with 4x larger flash than 4.0)
- Two USB ports (including USB host support)
- 100MB Ethernet PHY and native 4-bit SDIO interface
- Multiple communication interfaces: CAN Bus, I2C, SPI, I2S, and more
- Power management with dynamic clock scaling and power on/off switch functionality
- Onboard RTC with VBAT support for date and time tracking while powered off
This board is perfect for developers who need a high-performance microcontroller platform capable of managing complex tasks with real-time response. Note that headers and USB cables are not included.
