Description
This unusual cable is the ultimate in USB Type C Power Delivery (PD) hacking, perfect for experienced hardware hackers. It converts any USB Type C power adapter with PD support into a configurable 5V, 7V, 9V, 10V, 12V, 15V, or 20V DC power port at up to 2 Amps output.
The cable contains a re-programmable PD sink negotiation chip that communicates with the PD source chip in your power supply to adjust the output voltage accordingly. Please ensure your adapter is a PD source by checking its specifications.
Note: This cable is not a boost or buck converter. If your power supply cannot provide the programmed voltage, the output may default to 5V or no voltage.
