Description
This is a 3.7" rectangular TFT display with 240x960 18-bit full-color pixels featuring an IPS panel for excellent color quality up to 80 degrees off-axis in any direction.
Note: This version does not have a touchscreen.
The display uses the ST7701S driver and supports SPI only for configuration, not for drawing pixels. The primary display interface is TTL RGB 'dot clock' data, requiring a powerful microcontroller or computer capable of driving TTL RGB TFTs, such as the ESP32-S3 with octal PSRAM or a Raspberry Pi.
The display's internal memory is 360x960 with the leftmost 120 pixels considered overscan and not visible in the final image.
This product is a display module only and does not include any PCB.
It has a 40-pin connector with a unique pinout, not compatible with standard rectangular RGB TTL displays.
Users must ensure their hardware supports RGB-666 display driving and appropriate pinout before purchasing. For an ideal driver solution, see the Adafruit Qualia ESP32-S3 for TTL RGB-666 Displays.
