Description

This is a screen for advanced hackers who appreciate a distinctive round TFT screen with high pixel density. The 2.1" diagonal display features 480x480 16-bit full-color pixels and uses an IPS panel for excellent color viewing angles up to 80 degrees.

The TFT driver is the ST7701S which utilizes SPI solely for configuration and TTL RGB 'dot clock' data for pixel control. Note that you cannot draw pixels over SPI. The 40-pin connector does not share the same pinout as traditional rectangular TFT displays.

Driving this display requires hardware capable of TTL RGB TFT driving, such as the ESP32-S3 with octal PSRAM or a Raspberry Pi using direct-DPI or an intermediary ICN6211 chip. This display is not compatible with typical Feather or Arduino boards.

The round display includes a capacitive touch panel (CST826) with I2C and IRQ connections accessible on the 40-pin FPC connector. Touch data can be accessed via Adafruit's Arduino and CircuitPython libraries.

Important: This product includes only the display module. No PCB or driver board is included. Ensure your hardware supports RGB-666 TTL before purchasing.
