If you're tired of the regular twisty potentiometers, try this slide potentiometer featuring a 75mm long slide and a grippy plastic knob with a white stripe marker. Most famously used on mixers and transporter control panels, this 10K ohm linear potentiometer works great for breadboarding and prototyping. You can solder to the 3 legs or push it into a solderless breadboard or perfboard with large holes.

The sliding motion offers a satisfying feel and allows you to visually gauge voltage from low to high when used as a voltage divider.
