Solderless Press-Fit Male Pin Header - 2.54mm / 0.1" Pitch

If your soldering isn't quite up to scratch, or you yet don't own a soldering iron, these 0.1"/2.54mm standard pitch press-fit headers might be just what you need.

Absolutely no soldering required! All it takes is a few determined squeezes with some pliers, and the header is securely attached to the board with a press-fit connection that will get you started with your wiring. Afterward, you can pull the pins out one-by-one or solder them in place permanently.

Please note: These headers are not easy to use and are not recommended for beginners. It requires practice to get the hang of how to grip and wedge the pin headers using pliers. Using fingers is not sufficient, and it is best not to wedge more than 6-pins at a time. Exercise caution while assembling to avoid damage to your board, header, or fingers. For those concerned about difficulty, using a soldering iron is recommended instead.

Comes as a break-apart strip of 36 pins. Snap or cut off the length you need. It is recommended to have extra pins since it may take a few tries to perfect insertion.
