Solenoid 5V Push Type

The 5V Solenoid is a compact push-type actuator designed to provide linear motion, ideal for pushing, pulling, or controlling switches and levers in embedded and electronic projects.

Key features include:

• Operates directly at 5V, perfect for embedded projects
• Approximately 4.5mm throw
• Two M2 mounting holes for easy installation
• Comes with 2" wire lead terminated with a 2-pin JST PH connector
• Push type solenoid with push shaft type B

The solenoid provides a maximum force of approximately 300gf with a 0.5mm movement, requiring about 2A at 12W for short duty cycles (10%). For continuous operation, it sustains around 80gf. It is suitable for use with motor driver boards and relay modules for microcontrollers like BBC micro:bit or PICAXE18M2.
