Description
These hinged momentary step switches are evocative of the 16-step sequencer keys on TR-808 synthesizers. They provide a tactile, clicky feel and include a built-in red LED for indicating states or visual feedback when pressed.
The switch has four legs for mechanical stability and is a momentary SPDT type with two pins acting as the common and connecting to either of the remaining pins when pressed. They are not breadboard or perf-board friendly; wiring or a PCB design is recommended.
The embedded LED is a 3mm red LED with a maximum of 20mA current and a 2.1V forward voltage. There is no built-in resistor so it is advised to use an external 1K resistor to prevent damage. PWM dimming is possible via a microcontroller pin.
Perfect for use in electronic projects requiring tactile switches with built-in LED indication.
