Description
These hinged momentary step switches are reminiscent of the 16-step sequencer keys on TR-808 synthesizers and are often used on A/V equipment. They provide a tactile, clicky feel with a built-in red LED for indication or visual feedback when pressed.
- Hinged momentary SPDT switch with four legs for mechanical stability
- Built-in 3mm red LED (20mA max, 2.1V forward voltage) without a resistor included; a ~1K resistor is recommended
- Not breadboard or perf-board friendly; suitable for hand-wiring or PCB integration
- Dimensions: 17mm x 12mm x 14mm
- Comes as a three-pack of red plastic switches with red LEDs
The switch has two common pins connecting to one of the two 'throws' when pressed. See the accompanying diagram for pin configuration and use a multimeter to verify if needed.
These switches are ideal for projects requiring tactile feedback and visual switch status indication.
