This Lithium Ion and Lithium Polymer Battery Charger is based on the MCP73833 chip, designed for charging single 3.7V/4.2V Li-ion or LiPo batteries via a USB mini-B connection. It provides an efficient three-stage charging process: a preconditioning charge, followed by a constant-current fast charge, and finishing with a constant-voltage trickle charge to keep your battery topped-up.

- The default fast-charge current is 500mA, but it can be easily adjusted from 100mA to 1000mA by soldering a through-hole resistor on-board.
