Description
The VL53L1X Time of Flight (ToF) Sensor Breakout is an all-singing, all-dancing distance sensor that uses low-powered lasers for accurate and fast distance measurements.
This sensor features a wide detection range from 4cm to 4 meters with a 27° field of view, making it ideal for proximity sensing, presence detection, laser tape measuring, and collision avoidance on robots.
It is compatible with Raspberry Pi and Arduino platforms, with I2C interface (address 0x29) and supports 3.3V or 5V logic levels. Reverse polarity protection ensures safe usage.
The breakout is designed to be used alone or with the Pimoroni Breakout Garden for easy plug-and-play expansion with other compatible breakouts.
