2.2" 18-bit Color TFT LCD Display with microSD Card Breakout - HX8340BN

This 2.2" 18-bit color TFT LCD display breakout board is an excellent choice to add a small, bright, vivid color display to your microcontroller projects. Utilizing the HX8340BN controller with built-in pixel-addressable video RAM, this display supports 220x176 resolution with 262,144 colors via 3-wire SPI communication.

The breakout board includes:

• 2.2" diagonal TFT LCD with 18-bit color (220x176 pixels)
• HX8340B(N) controller with 9-bit SPI interface
• Built-in ultra-low-dropout 3.3V regulator and 3/5V level shifter for compatibility with 3.3V or 5V logic systems
• MicroSD card slot (not included) for loading full-color bitmaps (requires 2 additional digital lines)
• 3 white LED backlight with transistor for PWM dimming control
• 1x10 header for breadboarding and four 0.1" mounting holes
• Overall dimensions: 43mm x 68mm x 6.5mm (1.7" x 2.7" x 0.25")

Unlike CSTN type displays, this TFT offers high quality, fast refreshing color graphics. The open-source Arduino graphics library supports drawing pixels, lines, shapes, text, and bitmaps, with example code and wiring tutorials available.
