Adafruit 0.8" 8x16 LED Matrix FeatherWing Display Kit - Yellow

Create a bright and compact 8x16 LED matrix display perfect for Feather boards with the Adafruit 0.8" 8x16 LED Matrix FeatherWing Display Kit in Yellow. This kit includes two ultra-bright 8x8 yellow LED matrices paired with a FeatherWing driver board, enabling you to have 128 total LEDs in a convenient and easy-to-use format.

The FeatherWing PCB features a built-in HT16K33 I2C LED matrix driver, which handles all multiplexing via just two I2C pins, significantly reducing the GPIO usage compared to wiring LED matrices directly. It's perfect for scrolling text displays, emoticons, or small video displays controlled using Adafruit's Arduino and CircuitPython libraries.

This Yellow combo pack provides:

• One fully tested and assembled 16x8 0.8" LED FeatherWing
• Two ultra-bright square 8x8 yellow matrices
• Two 16-pin headers

A small amount of soldering is required to attach the matrices, taking approximately 15 minutes. The FeatherWing now includes a STEMMA QT connector for easy sensor connection while in use.

Dimensions per LED matrix are 20mm x 20mm x 6mm, with a height including pins of 13mm, and each matrix weighs 3 grams.
