Description
The Adafruit 0.8" 8x16 LED Matrix FeatherWing Display - Yellow-Green is a compact and bright display kit designed for any Feather board. This combo pack includes two 8x8 yellow-green LED matrices combined with a FeatherWing driver board, providing a total of 128 bright LEDs.
Featuring a HT16K33 I2C LED matrix driver, this FeatherWing significantly reduces wiring complexity by using only two I2C pins for control. It is ideal for applications such as scrolling text, small video displays, or graphical emoticons.
This kit includes:
- A fully tested and assembled 16x8 0.8" LED FeatherWing
- Two ultra-bright square 8x8 yellow-green LED matrices
- Two 16-pin headers for easy connection
A small amount of soldering is required to attach the matrices to the FeatherWing, which takes about 15 minutes. Extensive tutorials, including assembly instructions, pinouts, and software libraries for CircuitPython and Arduino are available.
