Adafruit 2.13" HD Tri-Color eInk ePaper Display FeatherWing - 250x122 RW Panel with SSD1680

Easy e-paper comes to your Feather with this breakout designed to add a tri-color eInk display effortlessly. Featuring a 2.13" tri-color (red, black, and white) display with 250x122 black and red ink pixels on a white background, this FeatherWing uses the SSD1680 driver chip and RW panel variant for high quality and daylight-readable output.

The display is suitable for all Adafruit Feathers, from ESP8266 to M0, with built-in memory buffering allowing it to function with microcontrollers as small as the '32u4 and '328. It requires several pins including the 3 SPI pins and up to 4 control pins for managing the SD card slot and SRAM.

To overcome memory limits of microcontrollers, a small SRAM chip is included on the back sharing the SPI port with the eInk display, enabling frame buffering without using precious RAM. An included MicroSD socket allows storage of images and text files for flexible content display.

This product comes assembled and tested with socket headers compatible with Feather boards, requiring no soldering.
