Description

Control 24 channels of 12-bit PWM output with the Adafruit TLC5947 breakout board, ideal for LED control. This breakout board features the TLC5947 driver chip capable of controlling 24 separate PWM outputs with constant current and open drain configuration. It's perfect for driving multiple LEDs in series with a supply voltage up to 30V.

Only three SPI pins are needed to send data, and the design is chainable allowing multiple boards to be connected to expand outputs. The current for each output is set by a resistor included on the board (3.3K for approximately 15mA), which can be changed to customize LED brightness.

Additional features include a 5V low-dropout regulator with reverse polarity protection, a green power-good LED, four mounting holes, and included 0.1 inch header support for breadboard compatibility. The board is powered by 5-30V DC with a common ground and accepts 3-5V logic SPI signals on DIN, CLK, and LAT pins. The OE pin allows for quickly disabling outputs.
