Description
Add some jazz & pizazz to your project with a color touchscreen LCD. This TFT display is big (3.5" diagonal), bright (6 white-LED backlight), and colorful! It features a 480x320 pixel resolution with individual RGB pixel control, offering much higher resolution than a black and white 128x64 display, and double that of our 2.8" TFT.
This display includes a resistive touchscreen already attached, allowing detection of finger presses anywhere on the screen.
The built-in controller has RAM buffering, minimizing the workload on your microcontroller. It supports both 8-bit and SPI modes: 8-bit mode requires 12 digital lines, while SPI mode requires only 5 pins but operates slower. Additionally, 4 pins are needed for the touchscreen (2 digital, 2 analog). You can also use a resistive touchscreen controller (not included) for I2C or SPI communication.
We provide a detailed tutorial with wiring diagrams, test code, and example projects. There are also open source libraries for both 8-bit and SPI interfaces, as well as a touchscreen library to detect x, y, and pressure (z) with example code.
Note: Arduino and breadboard are not included. This product includes the TFT display and header only.
