Description
The Adafruit ATtiny1616 Breakout board is a versatile and compact solution featuring the next-generation ATtiny1616 8-bit microcontroller with 16KB flash, 2KB RAM, and 256 bytes of EEPROM. Designed as a three-in-one product, this breakout not only provides a minimal development platform but also comes pre-programmed with the Adafruit seesaw peripheral firmware, enabling it to act as an I2C to multifunctional converter. The board includes two STEMMA QT I2C connectors for easy plug-and-play integration.
- ATtiny1616 microcontroller with up to 20MHz internal oscillator and 2V-5V operation
- Integrated 3.3V regulator with selectable logic voltage via solder jumper
- Green power LED and red indicator LED for status monitoring
- Two STEMMA QT I2C connectors with 10K pull-up resistors
- Pre-programmed seesaw firmware providing extensive I2C peripheral functions including GPIO, ADC, PWM, NeoPixel control, EEPROM storage, interrupt output, and address selection pins
This board is ideal for developers looking to experiment with the ATtiny1616 microcontroller or leverage the seesaw firmware’s capabilities for extending I2C hardware support. It is compatible with Arduino through SpenceKonde's megaTinyCore and can be programmed using a UPDI programmer (not included). Note: The board does not come with a bootloader.
Included:
- Assembled and tested ATtiny1616 breakout board
- Header strips for easy soldering
