Adafruit DPS310 Precision Barometric Pressure and Altitude Sensor - STEMMA QT / Qwiic

The Adafruit DPS310 is a high-precision barometric sensor from Infineon, ideal for measuring altitude changes and atmospheric pressure with exceptional accuracy. It offers up to ±0.002 hPa precision in high precision mode and ±1 hPa absolute accuracy, allowing you to measure absolute altitude with 1 meter accuracy and altitude changes with up to 2 cm precision.

This sensor is perfect for use in drones, altitude-sensitive robots, and environmental sensing setups for weather prediction.

Featuring both I2C and SPI interfaces, the DPS310 is versatile and easy to integrate. It includes a built-in temperature sensor with ±0.5°C accuracy. Noise reduction can be achieved by taking multiple measurements and applying a built-in low-pass filter.

The sensor operates from 300 to 1200 hPa and in temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. It comes mounted on a breakout board with supporting circuitry for 3.3V and 5V logic levels, making it compatible with Feather, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and Metro328 platforms.

Adafruit has included SparkFun Qwiic compatible STEMMA QT connectors for effortless I2C connections without soldering (cables sold separately). You can program it with CircuitPython, Python, or Arduino using the available drivers.
