Description

The Adafruit ESP32-S3 TFT Feather is a feature-packed development board that combines the powerful ESP32-S3 dual-core 240MHz Tensilica processor with a built-in 1.14" IPS TFT color display featuring 240x135 pixels. This Feather board includes 4MB of Flash, 2MB of PSRAM, and is equipped with a STEMMA QT connector for I2C devices, making it ideal for a wide range of IoT, wearable electronics, and smart home projects.

This development board supports native USB functionality, allowing it to act as a keyboard, mouse, MIDI device, or disk drive. Additional features include a USB Type-C connector, LiPoly battery support with built-in charging, and a battery monitor chip MAX17048 for voltage and state of charge reporting over I2C.

The bright IPS TFT display ensures vibrant colors visible from any angle, powered by the ST7789 chipset, with backlight control via PWM. Low power modes and separate power controls for the NeoPixel and peripherals make it highly energy-efficient for battery-operated applications.

The Feather form factor allows stacking with a variety of Feather Wings, expanding its functionality. It supports programming through Arduino or CircuitPython for versatile development.
