Description
The Adafruit Feather M0 RFM69 Packet Radio (433 MHz) combines a powerful microcontroller with a built-in RFM69 HCW packet radio transceiver, USB support, and battery charging capability. This Feather M0 board features an ATSAMD21G18 ARM Cortex M0 processor running at 48 MHz with 3.3V logic and 256K flash memory and 32K RAM, making it perfect for portable microcontroller projects.
Designed for portability, the board supports 3.7V Lithium polymer batteries and includes built-in battery charging with USB power switching. It measures 2.0" x 0.9" x 0.3" and weighs only 5.8 grams.
Key Features:
- ATSAMD21G18 ARM Cortex M0 processor @ 48MHz with 3.3V logic
- Built-in USB bootloader and serial port debugging; no FTDI chip needed
- Built-in 100mA LiPo battery charger with charging status LED
- RFM69HCW 433MHz radio module for packet radio communication
- Up to +20 dBm transmit power, approx. 350 meters range depending on conditions
- 20 GPIO pins, hardware Serial, I2C, SPI, 8 PWM pins, 10 analog inputs, 1 analog output
- Red LED on pin #13, reset button, and four mounting holes
The radio module offers secure packet transmission with AES-128 encryption and is compatible with amateur or license-free ISM bands. This board is great for wireless sensor networks and remote data communication requiring longer range than 2.4 GHz technologies.
The package includes the assembled and tested Feather M0 Radio board and some headers for breadboard compatibility. Note that the LiPo battery and USB cable are sold separately.
