Description

The Adafruit Feather RP2350 with HSTX Port and 8MB PSRAM is a powerful and compact development board in the classic Feather form factor. Featuring the Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller, it includes dual ARM Cortex M33 cores running at 150 MHz and comes with 8MB of QSPI Flash and 8MB of QSPI PSRAM for extended memory needs, ideal for IoT and embedded applications.

This version includes an AP6404L 8 Megabyte PSRAM chip, perfect for managing large buffer sizes in memory. The board provides 29 GPIO pins, including 21 on the Feather headers and 8 additional pins on the 22-pin HSTX connector port for high-speed data transmission such as DVI output.

Key features include a built-in 200mA+ LiPo charger, RGB NeoPixel, STEMMA QT connector for easy I2C device connections, USB Type C port with bootloader and debugging capability, and multiple peripheral interfaces: 2 I2C, 2 SPI, 2 UART, and 24 PWM channels. Its small size and low weight (5.6g) make it suitable for compact and portable projects.

  • Measures 2.0" x 0.9" x 0.28" (50.8mm x 22.8mm x 7mm) without headers
  • Dual ARM Cortex M33 cores at 150 MHz with hardware floating point
  • 8 MB QSPI Flash and 8 MB QSPI PSRAM memory
  • 29 GPIO pins with multiple peripheral support
  • Built-in 200mA+ LiPo battery charger with status indicator
  • RGB NeoPixel and STEMMA QT connector for I2C devices
  • USB Type C connector for easy programming and debugging
  • Onboard Reset and Bootloader buttons

The Feather RP2350 supports CircuitPython and MicroPython, making it ideal for beginners and advanced users. Leveraging the RP2350's increased SRAM and new features, it provides a significantly more capable platform than its predecessor, the RP2040. The permanent USB UF2 bootloader allows easy firmware upgrades by mounting the board as a USB drive.
