*pew* *pew*! This board acts like a small ray gun for infrared light, featuring two high-powered LED outputs controlled by an onboard N-Channel FET driver. It can pulse 100mA-200mA of current through each LED to achieve 10+ meters of range. This is an easy way to get excellent IR emitter range without the need to wire multiple parts.

Using a 2mm pitch STEMMA JST PH cable with headers or alligator clips, you can easily connect this board without soldering. Simply provide 3-5V DC power to the V+ input, ground, and a 3-5V logic level signal on the input pin. When the signal pin is high, the LEDs turn on, and when low, they turn off. A red LED indicates when the IR LEDs are active. Two LEDs are pre-soldered: one facing up and one pointing out, with an additional spot to solder a separate 5mm IR LED (not included) for extra coverage.

At 5V power, the board draws about 200mA per LED (400mA total) when pulsing; at 3V power, it draws about 100mA per LED (200mA total). Prolonged usage at these currents is not recommended as the LEDs are intended mainly for remote control transmission rather than IR illumination.

Each STEMMA board comes fully assembled and tested with a PCB, but no cable is included. Soldering is not required, but the connection headers are provided if desired. For use, you will need a 2mm pitch, 3-pin STEMMA JST PH cable.
