Adafruit LIS331 Triple-Axis Wide-Range ±24g Accelerometer - STEMMA QT / Qwiic

The Adafruit LIS331 is a triple-axis accelerometer capable of measuring accelerations up to ±24g on each of its three axes. This wide-range sensing capability surpasses that of many common accelerometers, making the LIS331 ideal for high-g applications.

The LIS331HH variant supports selectable measurement ranges of ±6g, ±12g, and ±24g, providing versatility for a variety of use cases. It features built-in configurable high-pass and low-pass filters, adjustable data rates to balance measurement frequency with power consumption, and supports both SPI and I2C communication protocols.

Housed on a custom PCB breakout board in the STEMMA QT form factor, the LIS331 is designed for easy integration with development platforms. It comes with STEMMA QT connectors compatible with SparkFun Qwiic cables, allowing solderless connections and sensor chaining. The breakout includes voltage regulation and level shifting to support both 3.3V and 5V systems.
