Description
The Adafruit MagTag combines the ESP32-S2 wireless module and a 2.9" grayscale E-Ink display to create a low-power IoT display that retains data even when powered off. The 2025 edition features a new 2.9" grayscale E-Ink display with an SSD1680 chip driver, replacing the discontinued ILI0373 display. This device supports Arduino and CircuitPython 10+.
Designed for low power consumption, it supports 350 or 420 mAh batteries with built-in USB-C battery charging. Deep sleep mode power consumption is approximately 250μA.
The board includes four M3 standoffs to attach mini magnet feet, allowing it to magnetically stick to metal surfaces.
