Description
The Adafruit METRO 328 is a fully assembled, Arduino-compatible development board that features the ATmega328 microcontroller with Optiboot (UNO) bootloader. It provides a versatile and user-friendly platform for your electronic projects.
This board is compatible with the Arduino IDE; simply select "Arduino UNO" in the boards menu to begin programming. It comes with headers soldered on and is fully tested and assembled.
- ATmega328P microcontroller with 32KB flash and 2KB RAM, running at 16 MHz
- Power with 7-9V DC or 5V via micro USB; features polarity protection and an on/off switch next to the DC jack
- 19 GPIO pins with 6 analog inputs and 6 PWM outputs on 3 timers
- Hardware SPI, I2C, UART; USB-serial converter using genuine CP2104 chip
- Four indicator LEDs for power, RX, TX, and pin PB5
- Logic level is 5V but can be converted to 3.3V logic by cutting and soldering a jumper
- Compatible with classic and R3 shields; board size 53mm x 71mm
- Includes 4 rubber bumpers to prevent slipping
- Open source hardware with files available on GitHub
Note: The board comes with headers attached but if you want a super slim version without headers, check out the Metro without Headers product.
Recommended power supply: 9V DC power supply
Drivers: For Mac and Windows, be sure to install the SiLabs CP2104 VCP drivers for proper COM port support.
